What Could Be Wrong With My 2 Month Old Baby Boy?

He has been having only one dirty diaper a day for the past three days and he has diarrhea, he has a lot of gas so I gave him myleton, but I don’t think this is causing the diarrhea, I breastfeed and also do formula Is there anything I can give him? I hate to see him like this cause I can tell his belly hurst. Thanks.

Loose stools are normal for breastfeed babies. it is also normal for them to change their bowel habits around 2 months of age. But if his stools are really loose then I would drop the formula and stick with just the breastmilk. he may be having a hard time digesting the formula.
Of he has diarrhea and is only urinating once a day I agree with poster #1, he sound dehydrated.
I would call your Dr asap and let them know what is going on so they can decide if he needs to be seen.
He may be having prblems with the formula.
Offer him breastmilk as much as he will take it. Try to keep him hydrated and offer it to him at least every 2 hours.

When my little man has a tummy ache I give him gripe water. You could also try that.
My son had the same thing. The doctors had us put him on Soy formula bc it was easier on his tummy than regular formula. They also said it’s normal for babies to go days without dirty diapers bc their digestive systems are just starting out. Besides, my son is 3.5 months old and he only has one dirty diaper a day… he has been like that for a while.
If you mean mylicon then no that doesn’t cause diarrhea. Call the pediatrician tomorrow morning.
he sounds very dehydrated. call the doctors office and speak to the nurse on call as soon as possible.
