Im 34 Weeks Pregnant Been Havin Diarrhea Since Saturday, Is It Ok To Take Donnagel?

I’m 34 weeks pregnant and sice saturday I have been going to the restrooom and even when I think I only have to pee there it comes. I wasn’t sure if it was diarrhea cause I don’t really feel like I need to go very often and some other symptoms that usually come with it. But today I call the doctor just to make sure and she told me to take some Donnagel or Kaopectate. Cause she said we need to get rid of the diarrhea but I still have doubts if IS IT OK TO TAKE IT WHILE PREGNANT? I DONT WANT TO HARM THE BABY, SINCE I GOT PREGNANT I HAVE NOT TAKE ANY MADICATION WELL JUST THE PRENATAL VITAMINS BUT IF I GET A HEADACHE OR A MUSCULAR PAIN I DONT TAKE ANY MADICATION CAUSE IM AFRAID IT CAN HARM MY BABY.
ARE THESE TWO MEDICATIONS SAFE TO TAKE, SHOULD I TAKE THEM EVEN WHEN I DON’T HAVE ANY OTHER SYMPTOMS JUST LOOSE AND SOMETIMES WATERY STOOLS? (not saying that I like it, but will the baby be safe?)
