Generally one to two ounces per pound of body weight is given over a period of 2 to 4 hours in this manner: one teaspoonful every 10 to 15 minutes for 30 minutes; if this is tolerated, give one tablespoonful every 15 to 20 minutes followed by two tablespoonsful every 30 minutes. If not tolerated or if diarrhea persists, contact the doctor. The amount given each time may be gradually increased until 4 to 6 ounces (120 to 180 ml) can be given every 3 to 4 hours so that 1 to 2 quarts (1 to 2 liters) are taken per day while the diarrhea continues (adults may need more).
He might have colic I thought my son had diarehha and the doctor said its normal for a baby to have frequent or runny stools. If hes fussy and crying. give him some gas drops I give my son chamomile tea with a little sugar. I hold my son on my arm with his tummy pressing against it and I rub his back. Hope he feels better they might need to change his milk try gentlease Enfamil its for gassy or fussy babies
He’s having poo a lot .. And now during diaper change he cries. I’ll bet his poor bum hurts because of being wiped so much. I’d go ahead and put some diaper cream and see if that helps, along with 1-2 oz of Pedialyte. I’d use the unflavored kind.

Oh and if the diarrhea gets any worse. I’d go ahead like one suggest and take him to the ER.
do you breastfeed? breastfeed him. that’s all the liquid he’ll need. if you don’t breastfeed. call the pediatrician or bring him in to Pedia ER. this could be a sign for a more serious thing. go!
I think you should talk to his doctor because mine said not to use it that young. He could be fussy because he’s sick.
