How Do I Tell If My Breastfed Baby Has Diarrhea?

my daughter is 5 months old. i’ve been sick for the past few days and she’s been acting a little fussy so i think she’s not feeling well either. how do i know if she has diarrhea? she usually only goes about once a day and she’s gone 3 times today and 3 times yesterday but its the same consistancy as always.

you can tell dont owrry- it’s more mucusy and it has a very toxic odor- it will most likely hcange in color as well
edit- mnay breastfeeding mamas are worried that they wont be able to tell if their baby ahs diarrhea but you will when the time comes( if it ever does while you’re nursing)
If its not watery then it should be fine. I recommend that if you use disposable diapers that you use cloth, even jsut for a few days because you will be able to tell if its actually watery or not with cloth.
The way to tell if it’s diarrhoea is the consistency rather than frequency. Diarrhoea is very watery.
