Honestly if she has a milk allergy just skip the cereal and start with veggies and fruits. If you can find a milk free one you can use some expressed breastmilk to mix in it since you are dairy free.
You can make your own cereal too...
Rice Cereal
Ingredients:
1/4 c. rice powder (brown rice ground in blender or food processor)
1 cup water
Directions:
1. Bring liquid to boil in saucepan. Add the rice powder while stirring constantly.
3. Simmer for 10 minutes, whisking constantly, mix in formula or breast milk and fruits if desired
3. Serve warm.

I just read the back of my baby's oatmeal cereal box and no sign of any milk protein(casein). I would mix it with you breastmilk which gives it optimum nutrition and digestability and see how it goes. Rice cereal made my little guy constipated so I moved to the oatmeal. Good luck

why use it? you don't NEED to use rice cereal wait until 6 months and use real food. then you won't have to worry about it. rice cereal isn't needed

Read the labels. If you still have questions, call the company. There's an 800 number on the box.

I don't know what country you're in... but in England I get Plum baby organic super porridge and my 6 month old loves it! It's suitable from 4-6 months as a weaning food and contains no milk. http://www.plum-baby.co.uk/four-grain-su…
Otherwise, you could use plain baby rice, mix it with boiled water and add some fruit puree. I always mix apple or peach in with my son's cereal. If you have a pump, it's a good idea to mix it with breastmilk, but you don't HAVE to.
You could also try plain oatmeal (mixed with water/breastmilk and fruit puree as an alternative to baby rice...http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d… that one doesn't contain milk or soya.
Btw, if you can't use cow's milk or soya milk and you aren't planning to pump for milk to mix with, you could consider oat milk or rice milk?

I'm in the same boat!
Heinz organic whole grain oatmeal has no milk
also, Healthy Times organic brown rice (www.healthytimes.com)
These two I know because I use them! I'm sure there's more out there. Just be careful about "hidden" milk ingredients like casien and whey
