Baby Diarrhea is a result of a poisoned, infected, or irritated digestive track or digestive system. When a baby’s body is exposed to a toxic susbstance it’s first response is to expel the susbstance by excreting extra fluids into the the intestines which causes an increased amount of intestinal contractions. The result is an increased volume of loose watery stools known as baby diarrhea.

While baby diarrhea is uncomfortable; it is much better than the alternative which is to have the toxins remain in the body. Because the diarrhea is just the baby’s body doing what it needs to expel the toxin; therefore, it is not recommended to give your baby over the counter antidiarrhea medicine unless otherwise directed by your Doctor.
