36 Weeks… Did The Baby Drop Or Is This Something Else??
okay first of all.. i have been posting a lot of questions so if you are getting annoyed with seeing all of them im really sorry.. just really anxious and confused.. this is my first pregnancy.
anyways.. the past few days i have had loose stools/ diarrhea (today)–which normally i am constipated. I have had the urge to clean things.. like scrub and get the baby bed and things all together. Also for the past few days I have been having a extremely thick discharge that comes out in huge chunks and looks like snot and once had a little brown in it. I have also had lots of stomach aches and indigestion which has gone a long with the recent diarrhea. however sometimes It hurts really bad and so i run to the bathroom but I can’t go and the pain starts to go away when I move. Now I am having pretty bad back pain. Its low like between where my hips meet and feels like they are pinching a nerve or something and are pretty constant and every now and then I have cramping.
I think it sound like you lost your mucous plug and your body is definitely getting ready!!! AHHHH I am so excited for you!!! Take it easy though you want to try to make it one more week!!! 37wks is ideal!!! From the information I’ve learned from my doula it sounds like your having false labor. Which is your body just preparing it’s self for the real thing!!! I am experiencing the same stuff minus losing the mucous plug. You will know when it’s the real deal because changing what your doing won’t change how you feel. Once they get to 5 min apart or you water breaks call the doc!!! OMG Good Luck!!! If you want some relief go and get a pregnancy massage you will be in heaven!!!
Those all sound like early labor symptoms, but even though its hard not to get excited, early labor symptoms can go on for days, and then when you finally are in labor – Being that this is your first it could be another couple days.
Either it will keep on, or peter off..Whichever happens, by the time you go to the doctor, you’ll have a more clear idea of the situation
Wow, you have a lot of symptoms of early labor–usually diarrhea comes as the body gets ready. You sound like you are having contractions with the back pain. If it continues call your doctor.
All my pregnancy books said that if you have diarrhea for over 24 hours to call the doctor. So if i were you i’d call now even if you have an appointment made for Friday.
sounds like you may go into labor within the next few days… Make sure you have a bag packed. Congratulations!
